Red’s hitting did not take the day off coming off a win where they got 16 hits, they decided to one up it with 17. It was a well balanced attack with 8 players collecting a two hit game, with Friedl, McLain, Ford, Candelario and Fraley all getting a homerun. Luis Campusano lead the Padres with 2 hits while Kyle Higashioka got the runs in with a 2 run homerun. Hunter Green lead the way throwing 6.2 innings striking out 12 while giving up 2 runs before Alex Young got the final out. A start that Dylan Cease wants to forget about giving up 5 runs in 4 innings. The Red’s Move to 6-1 on amidst 5 game winning streak.
