All but one of the host of the OGCFM Breakdown picked the Commanders to win this game, and the Vikings tuned in and had some stuff to say about this.
Jalen Milroe: “I hear the disrespect, I have dealt with this kind of disrespect my whole career. All I can do is play my game, and my game is one of the best in the league I have something coming for this Washington defense I saw what Justin Fields did to them last week.”
Justin Jefferson: “These boys haven’t watched us this year. We 7-3 and we just getting started, I haven’t even got going yet, I’ve been letting my boy McMillionare go off this year, but I’m done with that expect 150 and 2 tubs out of me this game.”
Chop Robinson: “We’ve got our hands full this week with Derrick Henry, but Sam Howell we ain’t worried bout him.”
Head Coach: “I listened to the show, but I don’t take anything they say to heart but I’ll tell you one thing I am not getting outcoached in this game.”
The Vikings have had a great season this year, a complete turnaround from last year. Justin Jefferson has been hit or miss, but a recent decision to move him to slot receiver has seen his role in the offense change drastically. They have rookie of the year shoe in, in Tetairoa McMillian, he has been one of the best receivers in the league with Jamaar Chase being the only receiver in the entire league having better stats. Jalen Milroe has been ELITE with one of the best rookie seasons that we have seen. Jay Ward has flown under the radar this year, but all the sudden he is the favorite for NFC defensive player of the year. So I don’t quite get the disrespect that came the Vikings way, but one things for certain the Vikings will have the comments of the OGCFM Breakdown crew in mind this week.
