The Packers started 3-7. You read that correctly. This team started 3-7! They have since won 5 games in a row and have a legit shot at making the playoffs. I had the honor to commentate their week 1 matchup against the Chicago Bears, and man, this is a whole different team.
Jordan Love has done a great job in taking care of the ball and that has been a game-changer for this team. He has a 12-1 TD-INT ratio during this winning streak. At the beginning of the season, Love constantly cost his team the games. Now with him doing a better job, this Packers team is a true threat to the NFC.
Defensively, wow. One of the most underrated defenses in the league. They have corners who are masters when it comes to man-to-man coverage and a defensive line who do an outstanding job generating pressure. I see this defense being a huge reason that this Packers team will make some noise in the playoffs.
I’m not going to lie, I have become a believer in this team. And depending on the seedings (who will clinch the #2 seed in the NFC), I truly believe this team will upset the #2 seed in the NFC. Hot take.
