Both the Colts and Panthers sit at 6-1, but both teams looked to improve their team earlier today. With Brian Burns wanting a huge deal that the Panthers were not willing to give, the Colts picked up the phone. They received Brian Burns, but it was not without giving up a dominant player in Buckner. The Colts also received Donte Jackson, while the Panthers also received a 5th-round pick and rookie Daniel Scott. This move for the Colts may be a sign that they are not fully confident that they can win this year, as they get younger. But for the Panthers, this move may signify that they believe they have all it takes to win the Super Bowl this year. Brian Burns and Donte Jackson will return to Carolina in week 9 when the Colts go against the Panthers.
