There has been so much talk about the AFC. AFC is better. AFC is this. AFC is that. And yes, the last four Super Bowl Winners came from the AFC (Chiefs, Bengals, Titans x2). But this season, the NFC is looking really good. Dare I say, better than the AFC. Let’s talk about it.

First off, we are canceling out the Titans. They have been dominant for two years now, so we know how good they are. And hot take, the Titans are carrying the AFC right now. And for that reason, I am not mentioning them in this take.

But after the Titans, who do you really have? Ok ok, you have the Bengals. True. But after that, I’m not gonna lie, everyone else looks suspect. Don’t believe me? Let’s go down the line:

Broncos: Great start to the season. No Doubt. But we saw this last season. And what happened? I get it new Head Coach, but I just don’t trust them.

Bills: Ask yourself this and be honest. Do you really see the Bills making it out of the AFC?

Browns: You never know what you are gonna get from this team. A huge win over the Steelers just to lose to the Cowboys this week.

Colts: This team just lost to the 1-3 Eagles. Do I really need to say more?

Chiefs: This team has not proven they can win big games and you have to win big games to be successful.

Chargers: I see them being third in their division by the end.

Steelers: They continue to beat themselves.

Jets: They might have already peaked.

And then there is everyone else in the AFC.

I’m sorry, but the Bengals are the AFC’s only hope. If they don’t step up, the Titans will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl again. Simple. But on the NFC, it’s actually parody. There are eight teams over .500. Seven of them are 3-1 and one of them is undefeated (Panthers). Let’s go down the line:

Panthers: 4-0 squad that are starting to play like they did two seasons ago. And better offensively. Bryce Young is the frontrunner for MVP and the Panthers look like they will give every team in the league a run for their money.

Packers: Malachi Nelson is stepping up. This Packers team is on a mission after getting upset in the playoffs last season. Defense is top tier and offense is hell to go against.

Giants: I told you last season was a fluke. Cam Ward and Jalin Hyatt are the best duo in the league. I see them easily making the playoffs.

49ers: Speaking of playoffs, the 49ers are my pick to win the NFC. And they made me even more of a believer after putting an end to the Broncos’ undefeated record.

Saints: I have learned to never doubt this team. They made the NFC Championship game last season and are proving that it was no fluke.

Cowboys: Wow. They have built the perfect roster and are capitalizing on it. I see them continuing it all the way to the playoffs.

Bears: Daaa Bears. Another team that has built a perfect roster. I said it at the beginning of the season, the Bears will make the playoffs.

Vikings: The Vikings are my sleeper pick to win the NFC. They did get embarrassed last season in the playoffs, but I feel that was just a lack of playoff experience. Adding Jonathan Taylor, if they actually use him, makes them the best offense in the league.

But guess what? We still have not even mentioned the Rams, who made the Super Bowl last season. Or the Cardinals, who I believe will fight back into playoff contention. Or the Eagles, who just hired Coach Jayforeign, a Coach who led the Panthers to two straight Super Bowls.

So yeah, the NFC is fun. And for the first time in a while, I actually think it is better. Go NFC!
