Do you know what was so weird about the Eagles coaching controversy? They made the playoffs last season. How do you go from the playoffs to firing your head coach then hiring another then firing after three games? But even in the madness, the Eagles actually got blessed. I got inside information that Coach JayForeign was interested in coaching again. As you know, he used to Coach the Panthers in Seasons 3 and 4 of this OGCFM era. He would lead the Panthers to two straight Super Bowls but unfortunately failed to win one. Nonetheless, he is a proven Head Coach.
His sudden departure from the team left many confused. Although it has not been confirmed, it had been said that Coach JayForeign was looking to be the highest-paid Head Coach in NFL history, but the Panthers would not budge. After taking a season off, he is back. This time with the Eagles.
And he is already back to his winning ways. The Eagles would upset the Colts 41-34. The Eagles currently sit 3rd in the NFC East. I am a big fan of the Coach, but I will say this time around will not be any easier than before. The NFC is way better than before. And looking at their schedule, they play some really tough teams. I would guess that eight losses will be the most a team could lose and still make playoffs. With 3 already, the Eagles still have to play teams like the 49ers, Steelers, Giants, Cowboys 2x, Rams, and Titans.
If Coach Jayforeign can get this team to the playoffs, that would be incredible. But honestly, I don’t see it happening. The league has never been this talented, and I feel they already have too many losses to have a chance at contention.
Either way, Eagles fans are so excited. So much so that they had thousands of fans welcome Coach Jay as he got off the plane with his team as they get ready to host the Cowboys at home. Go Eagles!
