The Commanders played at home against the browns and this game was basically a feeling out process for the commanders as they went into the Half 14-14. Commanders fans were also a bit frustrated with how the offense played in the first half.

“We came out flat” said Rookie QB Jayden Daniels who after a decent first half would have his offense clicking on all cylinders in the second half. The other cause for concern was Jalen the kid’s offense in the first half and in that second half they would put those worries to bed. One example of Jayden taking the game into his own hands is when he decided to run the ball after no one was open and the pressure showed up and JD decided it was time to take off as he would scramble to his left find a whole and run for a 46 yard TD.

On the Defensive side Nick Saban’s disciplined defense showed its guns. The discipline, attention to detail and excution was definitely shown and it was from a rookie Dominique Hampton the fast LB showed great coverage skills as he had two picks and three tackles. The defense also must of worked on hitting that tackle dummy as they were hitting hard as they would fore 2 fumbles and LB Frankie Luvu would also get an Interception so Nick Saban’s defense would finish off dominant as the defense would have a second half shutout and finish the day with 5 turnovers. They would also strike on special teams as CB/KR Emmanuel Forbes Jr would take a kick return back to the house.

The Commanders will now shift their focus to the Battle of the Beltway as they face the explosive duo of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry in Week 6
