The Houston Texans are one of the best teams in the league. Easily. Coach Urlacher came in and changed the culture. Defensively, they are top 10. Offensively, they have the best-rushing offense in the league. They have taken the season series against the Colts 2-0 in the regular season. The #2 seed Texans are the far-ahead favorites in this matchup. But should they be?

On the other side is the 11-6 Colts…the Colts started 4-6. They were struggling at the QB position. Coach OZ wanted to try Joe Flacco, but that situation did not go as planned. So Anthony Richardson got another chance and made the most of it. During the 7-game win streak, he has thrown 28 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. In his last five games, he has thrown 21 touchdowns to only 1 interception. The Colts’ defense has been average at defending the run. The pass? Not so much. They rank last.

With Joe Mixon out for the playoffs, the pressure is on CJ Stroud. Stroud is sort of having a sophomore slump although Mixon was able to hide it. He has thrown 33 touchdowns to 24 interceptions. He recently had a 6 interception game against the Titans in Week 18. Luckily, the Colts are ranked last in passing defense.

My Prediction: The Colts upset the Texans 41-27.

Yes. We will witness one of the biggest upsets in OG playoff history. I don’t trust CJ Stroud. Even with the Colts being ranked last in passing defense, I don’t think CJ Stroud is confident. Coming off a game in which he threw 6 touchdowns to a playoff game seems like it will be too much. Not to mention that the Colts are red-hot right now. Anthony Richardson is on the opposite trajectory of CJ Stroud. Everything is clicking. And because of that, I pick the Colts to win in a game that will be very close until the closing of the fourth.

Tune in at 10 PM to witness the Colts attempt to start their Cinderella run.
