As the Eagles fell 1 game short of the Super Bowl, the front office debated on just keeping the team as is and rebooting for the next season with the same players, but an opportunity arose and front office just couldn’t pass up on it. As the Eagles were busy signing FB Reggie Gilliam, the phone rang, and an old friend was on the other line. Haason Reddick’s agent expressed the interest Reddick had in playing for the Eagles once again, but he stated the money had to be right. As both parties continued conversations, Reddick’s agent (Drew Rosenhaus) expressed he had another client (Justin Simmons) who also expressed he wanted to play for Philly, and was willing to come to terms on a 1 year deal, Eagles front office immediately sent the contract over and was signed within hours (1 Year 18 Million). Reddick on the other hand wanted a 2 year contract, but eventually signed for 1 year 15.4 Million. Both players arrived on the same plane, and were greeted to a huge celebration.
