Situations matter.

That’s a lesson we knew but was a lesson that was displayed last night. We all know that Jordan Love is a great quarterback, but he performed like one of the worst last season. Because of that, the Packers decided to trade him to the Seahawks as they looked to draft Carson Beck in the draft. On the other side was the Seattle Seahawks who felt that they were a Quarterback away from really making noise in the playoffs. I hate to keep mentioning it but Geno Smith put on an Assterclass in January. So when Coach Reggie and the Front Office saw that they had an opportunity to get Jordan Love, they did all they could to bring him home.

In his debut in Seattle, the fans witnessed a show. Jordan Love would throw for 350 yards, 5 touchdowns, and only 1 interception. He made it look very easy out there. But he didn’t do it alone. And that’s what I mean when I say situations matter. When you can throw to DK Metcalf (5 receptions, 168 yards, 4 TDs) or Noah Fant (5 receptions, 105 yards, 1 touchdown), life as a Quarterback is easier. When you can hand the ball off to Kenneth Walker and get 100 rushing yards, life as a Quarterback is easier. When your defense can force 5 interceptions, 3 sacks, and only allow 12 points…say it with me. Life as a Quarterback is easier.

This should be fun. The Seahawks are back and better. Both Jordan Love and the Seahawks have found their soulmate. What’s the saying? To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides.
