Henderson, Nevada – The coach was aggressive when free agency opened by going after some young talent. The buccaneers said Watson was too overweight to play for their organization, and well our defensive team captain said “Bring him over to the Raider Nation! We will make him feel like he is back in Gator town!” Max Crosby seemed eager to see if coach Outlawz would adhere to his request.
Eugene Asante was the next one to get the call as we had a gap in the MLB slot that he will fit into perfectly with our new scheme.
The buccaneers also released Shilo Sanders which the raiders looked at for special alignments to help the secondary out. This will be a project player, but the sky is the limit for Sanders if he puts it all on the line.
Lastly, Geno pulled coach Outlawz to the side to talk about mentoring DTR as they basically have the same build and speed. Coach Outlawz was happy that Geno said those words due to the age on that bench. DTR will also be a project that will determine if he gets an extension or finds himself looking for yet another team, and becoming a journeyman.
