SNYPS was on the call between the Jaguars and the Bengals as the NLG was playing across the Nations and in 15 other countries. This lived up to its billing. Trevor Lawrence passed for 229 yards on 15-17 passing with 2 td’s to lead the Jags to a 24-21 win over the Bengals in Riverfront stadium in Ohio. The Jags actually led this game 21-7 and seemed to be cruising but those pesky Bengals clawed their way back into the game and knotted the score at 21 midway through the 4th QTR. The Jaguars took over and promptly moved down the field and kicked the game winner as time expired to put the Jags in the AFC Championship game against the Jets next week in Jersey. Christian Kirk had 7 receptions for 86 yards while Travis Etienne had 3 receptions for 35 yards and 2 td’s. The Bengals Were led by Joe Mixon. He had 2 td’s rushing and 1 td receiving. Joe Burrow didn’t have his best day. He went 20-25 for 244 yards and 1 td but had 3 costly picks. With the win, the Jaguars are now in the AFC Championship game as they will face the NY Jets in the Meadowlands next week for the right to represent the AFC in the NLG Season 1 Super-Bowl.
The late game tonight saw the upstart TB Bucs flew out West to the Desert and laid the wood on the Arizona Cardinals by the score of 30-3. This game was over early. The Bucs jumped out to a 14-0 lead after the 1st qtr and 17-3 at the half .The difference in this game was the swarming defense of Tampa Bay, They held the Cardinals to a season low 115 total yards for the game. They were flying all over the field. Kyler Murray passed for 227 yards and 1td on 11 for 14 through the air as he finished the day with a pretty solid 142.5 QBR. Rachaad White had 71 yards rushing and 1td as well as 95 yards receiving and a td. Baker Mayfield struggled to say the least. He went a Paltry 7 for 12 passing for 48 yards and 2 int and a 27.7 QBR rating.
