Last season, the Detroit Lions nearly made the playoffs. Many fans, even though they were not Lions fans, were rooting for the Lions. The Lions defied the odds last year. They were underdogs last year. But this year, expectations increased. It wouldn’t be good enough for the Lions to nearly make the playoffs. This year they were expected to make noise. And they have done exactly that. The Lions are headed to the playoffs and they have done it with ease. The unstoppable duo of Hendon Hooker and Jameson Williams has been too much for the league to handle. Their offense has been one that very few have been able to stop, and coming into the playoffs, a team will have to be able to go point-for-point against them. And I honestly don’t see a team in the NFC who can do that.
