No seriously. I think it’s time. That’s the article. Simple. Give them their respect.

The Colts have had two impressive victories so far in the season, beating the Titans, and beating an undefeated Chiefs team. The Chiefs walked into Indianapolis with an undefeated 3-0 record and a crazy good offense. Good isn’t the best way to describe their offense. I’ll just put it like this: the best offense. Aye, that’s what the numbers say. The Chiefs were averaging 46 points on offense! But they went up against, maybe the stingiest defense in the league, in the Colts. How many points do you think they scored?

12.

In 4 quarters, the Chiefs scored 12 points. Now this is no disrespect to the Chiefs, just the truth.

After continuing to come up short in big games last year, many have already ruled the Colts out when it comes to being true contenders. Calling them a “first-round exit waiting to happen”. Bringing up last year’s famous “playoff bracket crusher” loss to the Chargers. And right now, they still do have a chance to be a first-round exit. They still need to work on their offense, as it is still heavily reliant on how Jonathan Taylor performs. I have been to their practices and they are solely focused on making their offense more pass-focused than before. But don’t be fooled, the Colts are the real deal NOW. Passing skill or not. It also seems that the disrespect has gone too far in their eyes. The Head Coach of the Colts told me “We still will run up in your city, embarrass you, and take some of your fans too. We have the best running back in the league. The best defense in the league. The best quarterback in the league.” Last year, I wouldn’t have expected him to say those words. This year though, it seems that the Colts have a new swagger to them. Like they finally realize that they belong in the conversation when the best are mentioned. I was also told that it’s about to be a “massacre for the entire league. One that will be up there with 9/11”. He said it, not me. I’m just the messenger. But honestly, I agree. You can laugh if you want, but I’m picking this team to win the whole thing.
