After last years disappointing loss to to the seven seed Bengals in the first round, the Raiders head coach made the decision to step down. The choice was confusing he had one of the best rosters in the league and had just fallen short of the one seed in the AFC. The roster still in tact, the Raiders hired a new coach and were excited to move forward this season. The new head coach had weapons at his disposal all over both sides of the field. With Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams, and a young superstar at quarter back in K.J. Jefferson, what could go wrong. Well the Raiders have started the year on a two game skid, and out of nowhere the new Raiders coach has stepped down. Rumors are flying around on what could possibly be the issue in Las Vegas, none of them have been confirmed. Is there too much pressure, is the ownership too hard to work with, is the team too star studded to respect a leader? No one truly knows, but now the Raiders have started this season at 0-2 after only having one loss last season, and there is for sure issues in the organization from the bottom to the top.

Now the Raiders are on a hunt for a new coach. With a roster like this someone will take a chance on this team, even knowing what happened with the last two coaches. I believe that this roster has what it takes to win the super bowl as far as talent goes but there are things that obviously need to be addressed before this team can expect to be successful moving forward. Will a trade be made to remove a locker room cancer, will a new coach bring in a new culture that the players will buy into, or will the Raiders waste this season in the prime years of their super bowl window. The only thing for certain is the Raider faithful are disappointed to say the least.
