The Chiefs won the AFC West last season. Coach Green was able to continue the Chiefs’ success…until the playoffs started. The Chiefs would end up losing to the Bills. Even still, with Pat Mahomes on the team, the Chiefs will likely be on top of the AFC again this season.

The Chargers also had a great year. Although it flew under the radar, Justin Herbert would throw for over 6500 yards. That is insane. The Chargers would end up losing to the Browns in the Wildcard Round. Coach D (Chargers Head Coach) clarified that he believes he has the team that can win now.

After having another disappointing season, the Raiders would hire Coach Jalen. With Drew Allar, the 5th pick in the NFL draft, the Raiders hope they can go from being a lottery pick to a playoff team.

The Broncos are the most underrated team in this division. No one expects this team to make it out other than themselves. The Broncos would draft Jayden Daniels with the 14th pick, solving their quarterback problem. Will Coach Sizzle and the Broncos shock the league this season? Let’s talk about it.

Chiefs– With Coach Green in the Head Coach position, there was some doubt on whether or not the Chiefs would be able to continue to be a competitive team. Why? Many people need to truly understand that Coach Green is a great coach. And after leading the team to #3 in the tough AFC, he has earned the league’s respect. Or has he? The way the Chiefs ended the year was very uncharacteristic. Some coaching decisions did not make sense in their loss to the Bills. Pat Mahomes was also outdueled by Josh Allen, which no one is used to. With the West improving this season, will we witness the fall of the Chiefs?

Raiders– With Coach Jalen on board, expectations for the Raiders are higher than ever. But how realistic are those expectations? Do we really expect a lottery team to have a complete turnaround and win the rugged AFC West? Honestly, I do. The Raiders have the players and the Head Coach to compete with anyone on any given Sunday… Thursday…or Monday. Many feel Drew Allar should have been drafted before Milroe, but the Raiders are not complaining. Allar also has a lot of weapons. Tee Higgins. Debo Samuel. “McMillions”. With Josh Jacobs at runningback, this offense should be one of the best. Defensively, though, is a place where the Raiders will struggle. I genuinely believe the Raiders will have to score 40 points a game to win. And I think the need to score 40 points will hinder them tremendously.

Broncos– Man, to think that we are only a couple years from the Russel Wilson trade. What could have been! Unfortunately for the Broncos, nothing went as planned. The Broncos would struggle to find a quarterback to replace Russ, and without a QB, it is almost impossible to win consistently. And the Broncos struggled. They would fix that issue by drafting Jayden Daniels. But I will be honest: Nothing about this team would make me believe they have a legitimate shot at winning this division. Except one thing. Coach Sizzle. Coach Sizzle knows that no one is giving his team a shot. And he has told me that the Broncos will be putting up a season-long showcase on why you should never doubt the Broncos. It will be a tough season, but the Broncos are ready for it all.

AGS AFC West Division Winner Prediction: Chargers. The Chargers will put in some crazy work this season. And part of that will be dominating the AFC West. Yes, dominating. I see them having a 5-1 division record, with the Raiders just sneaking one out. Other than that, the Chargers will take the previous AFC West title from the Chiefs. Hot take: They will run the AFC West for at least the next two years.
