“Coach Afro, you lost in a close one in this, some might say you had a chance at winning this, what are your thoughts on the outcome in this one.” Says a tall reporter close to the front.
“I feel devasted after seeing how we weren’t able to get the ball out at all on that final play, all we needed was a couple of yds to go for the game tying fg that could have sent us to OT. I love my team though, most would give up when being unable to muster anything on offense and defense, my team though continued to fight and fight through all four quarters, keeping us in it until the end.”
“Coach Afro, I have a question for you regarding Will Levis. It seems now that in two weeks he has struggled to limit the turnovers and in this one, you ended up benching him to have Mason Rudolph come in, who ended up almost winning it in the final minutes. Is there going to be a Qb battle between the two in the next coming weeks.” Says a female reporter towards the right side of the room, eager to hear a answer.
“I’m not going to bench Will levis anytime soon, He is going to be the starter for the foreseable future for now. I took him out of the game in this one because he was to in his head and I didn’t want him to lose any more confidence in himself. The team is behind Levis, he is a very talented Qb and we know that he can do great things for this team.
Some of you may not know, but Will Levis has the most passing yards in the league right now, I’m fine with his performance so far because I know how hard it can be for a young Qb to be able to fully acclimate themselves with the changes that come with the NFL. He needs time and experience to truly flourish in the NFL and I am someone that is willing to take the long road with my Qb to make sure that they can be the best possible version of themselves.
Thank you all for the questions. I will see you guys next week on Monday as we take on Tua and the Dolphins. Have a good rest of your days everybody.”
