The Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns in simple terms, are fu**”. Both teams are well over the cap. The cap being 269.8, Dallas and Cleveland has 312 million committed to players. Dallas and Cleveland literally signed nobody this offseason. The only move was franchising Dak by Dallas. The Browns sacrificed Greg Newsome, All-Pro CB to keep Deshaun at 70 million this year. Rival executives are furious with Dallas and Cleveland coming down to the final hour to get under the cap. “A typical Jerry Jones thing to do, he probably was going to try to play tonight. If Dallas does this they should be docked every pick in next years draft. He also went on to say “ You just went 20-0, Jerry thinks he is bigger than the shield and all the other owners. How the hell are you going to try to spend an extra 40 million more than any other team. Jerry delusional, and ridiculous” The commissioner and league office has been quiet on the matter letting it play itself out I guess. We will be watching closely what happens with Dallas and Cleveland cap situation and how the league handles it.
