The Bengals went 16-1 last season. And honestly, that was the most fun I have ever had watching a team. We saw them perform in the clutch. We saw them perform even without the MVP Joe Shiesty. We saw Jamar Chase, the AFC OPOTY, dance his way to the endzonene. We saw Joe Mixon, revive his career. But unfortunately, we know what we all will remember that season as. A choke. The Bengals would go 16-0 but their last two losses were huge. And against the same team. The Colts. The #1 seed Bengals would lose the first chance they got in the Divisional Round against the #5 seed Colts. A team that has been a thorn in their side.

But that was the past. The Bengals now look forward to righting their wrongs. And what better way to right those wrongs than beating the Colts in week 1?

Regardless of how this game goes, the Bengals see the bigger picture. They know that a great regular season game means nothing. 16-1 means nothing. First Round Bye means nothing. OPOTY means nothing. MVP means nothing. The Bengals are locked in on one thing. That Super Bowl Trophy. And they will build good habits all season long to get it.

Tonight, the Bengals will go up against the new-look Colts. The Bengals will not have to worry about Jonathan Taylor, Myles Garrett, Micah Parsons, Justin Simmons, or Anthony Richardson. And with improvements on their defense, the Bengals would have been prepared either way. Tonight starts what I believe will be another incredible run.
