There were so many rumors heading into the draft questioning where Marvin Harrison Jr. would go. The Rams answered that question for us. Or did they? Rumors spread Harrison would fall all the way to the Bears at three with the Rams taking Drake Maye because they were in desperate need of a quarterback. Then rumors spread that the Cardinals and the Colts were trying to trade up to #2 to draft him. Those trade talks resulted in neither team getting that pick. So the mock draft had it like this: Caleb at 1 to the Seahawks, Maye at 2 to the Rams, and Harrison at 3 to the Bears. But on draft night, the Rams made the right decision. The Rams were a great passing offense last year even with a quarterback (Stafford) on his last leg. They also drafted Jordan Travis from Florida State to lead this offense. With Kupp, Harrison, and Tutu, this might…what am I talking about? This IS the best-receiving core in the league. If Jordan Travis can develop quickly, the Rams may be right back in contention.
