After a controversial ending to a season that saw the Broncos lose their Head Coach due to gambling and failing the NFL drug policy, the Broncos’ future was in question. Justin Fields had just been traded to the team and was making a great comeback. Barion Brown also made a name for himself in his rookie year. But with a new Head Coach, things were going to change. Whether for the better or worse, the Broncos players would have to adjust.

The Broncos would hire Coach Kelly and he has transformed this team’s offense and defense. Offensively, this is one of my favorite offenses to watch. Bringing back the run-and-shoot offense, the Broncos have broken down some of the best defenses. Take week 1 for example. The Broncos would go up against the #2 ranked defense in the Steelers. With the addition of Micah Parsons, it was expected that Justin Fields would have a very bad day. Instead, Justin Fields and the Broncos would continue to break down the Steelers defense. Justin Fields would have 352 yards with 3 touchdowns. A phenomenal performance that instantly put the league on notice.

Or take week 3 against the Rams. The Rams have one of the best defenses with their heavy blitz scheme. With the addition of Chris Jones, they are even better defensively. But man, the Broncos had no worries. It took a little while, but once the Broncos offense started clicking, it was up. Justin Fields would throw for 382 yards with 4 touchdowns in their 36-29 win. Incredible!

And those games were not flukes. The Broncos rank 5th in passing offense and credit goes to Coach Kelly. The scheme he has made for this team is clearly working and has the Broncos in a great position to win their division and be a top seed in the AFC

But how far can this run-and-shoot offense lead them? Justin Fields does have 15 touchdowns, but he also has 11 interceptions. Can the Broncos truly trust Justin Fields to lead them in the playoffs? Well, so far he has led them to a 4-1 start. I’m sure Field is still getting used to the system. And once he does, it will be hell for the league. Go Broncos!
