The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have earned their first win of the season in a 31-14 win against the Falcons. Without Tom Brady, the Bucs came into the season with Baker Mayfield. So far this season has been nothing but mistakes from Baker, who already has 11 interceptios on the season. He played alright today, but the defense won the game for the Bucs, forcing Desmond Ridder to throw 6 interceptions. The Buccaneers are 1-5 and the season does not look very promising. There are still games to play though and it only takes one game to change the direction of a season. This could be that game that turns the season around for the Bucs. Baker Mayfield does need to step up, and I believe he will. The defense must put the pressure on themselves to lead this team. Many see the Bucs as an afterthought and bottom feeders, who have no chance at the playoffs. Although that may be the case, tonight the Bucs won. And for all the Bucs fans, that means there still is hope.
