The Cardinals may have had one of the biggest chokes we have seen against the Packers. That had to be said.
But even with that loss, they proved they can beat that team. They also have already beaten the Lions, who embarrassed them last year in the playoffs. So if you take off a loss to the Seahawks, which could have been a rusty game due to the first game of the season. And you also take off that Packers loss, the Cardinals look like top dawgs in the NFC. And if they win this week against the Panthers, I will be the first to claim them the best team in the NFC.
After a season where the Cardinals shocked the league and made the playoffs, expectations are high for them this season. It is no longer a big deal if they make the playoffs. They have to win it all or at least make the NFC Championship game. And so far, I believe this team can do it. I’ve said it before, I love watching this team win. A humble coach who always finds a way to put his team in the best position to win. But with the talent in this league only getting better, it will take Kyler Murray to be more consistent. With a 10-7 touchdown-interception ratio, the Cardinals’ offense inconsistency, just like their playoff game last season, may cost them. But there is a lot of the season to be played, and they have a lot of time to fix it. And if they can, we may be looking at the NFC Champions.
