Well, if you don’t like the Chiefs, I hope you had fun last year. I’m sure you were so excited to see them miss the playoffs. So excited not to have to see another ridiculous throw by Pat Mahomes. So excited not to see cameras focused on Taylor Swift. So excited to see the fall of a dynasty. But unfortunately for you:

Kings never die. And the Chiefs Kingdom is back on the rise.

The Chiefs come off of two very impressive wins. The first game showcased their ridiculous offense. Mahomes threw for 348 touchdowns with 4 touchdowns. In his second year, Pacheco ran for 158 yards with two touchdowns. Mahomes has a way to make the offense so much easier because the defense is so stressed about what crazy thing they will have to try to stop next. If you are a receiver, he is the perfect quarterback. Don’t believe me, ask Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He went for 140 yards and two touchdowns! 140! Who? Get used to that name because I have a feeling that Scantling will have a breakout season this year.

Next, the Chiefs went against a great team in the Chargers. To beat the Chargers, you have to play flawlessly. And the Chiefs did just that. Offense, perfection. Defense, clamps. Just a beautiful thing to watch. Mahomes is making an early case for MVP and maybe even Cover Athlete of the Year. He threw for 369 yards with 3 touchdowns. But the most impressive stat to me: 0 interceptions. A great statement win for the Chiefs to the AFC.

The Chiefs Kingdom is back which means trouble for the league. I’m proud of this team, except for one thing. I don’t want to continue to have to see Taylor Swift. I’m trying to watch the game! Sorry about that. It’s just annoying..nvm. Congrats to the Chiefs. And watch out!
