The Chiefs were heavy favorites to start the season…until they weren’t.
The Chiefs started horribly this season and it seemed likely that they would miss the playoffs. As crazy as that sounds, the Chiefs were not playing good football. After firing their old head coach, they are 3-1, making their overall record 4-3. This team is on fire and is starting to look like the team we thought they would be. After defeating division rival Chargers, and with the Broncos head coach out for personal reasons, it looks like the AFC West is the Chiefs once again. With a pretty easy schedule (looking at their opponents’ records and rankings), the Chiefs may be a lock to close out the season with a playoff berth. Their offense is always gonna find a way to score the ball. And with the best player in the world at Quarterback, anything is possible for the Chiefs. One thing we should have already known not to do is count the Chiefs out. But for all of us who did, the Chiefs have given us a reminder. Watch out!
