The Colts are undefeated going into week 5. From tough wins to blowouts, the Colts stand on top of their division, and maybe the league. But there is one obvious problem with this team: Lack of passing.

Anthony Richardson has helped them, but it is quite clear the Colts don’t trust them as much as they say they do. From 1-100, how many pass attempts do you think Anthony Richardson had last week against the Rams? 15? 25? 30? Nope. 6. 6 passes were thrown by the Colts’ “Franchise Player”. It’s fun now because the Colts are winning, but when they start losing, the Head Coach will surely be criticized for the lack of passing of AR5. Relying on their defense and Jonathan Taylor, the Colts are doing fine…for now. Two weeks ago, although they won, they were exposed by the Ravens. One pick 6 from AR5, and the Colts went back to the run game.

Talking to AR5, he said that he would like to be more involved in the offense, whether that is running himself or being trusted to launch it down the field. Jonathan Taylor has the most rushing attempts in the league. Does that sit well with the QB? Rumor has it that they got into a shoving match at halftime against the Rams. How about the receivers, who sacrificed so much blood, sweat, and tears to get here? How do they feel about catching one ball and blocking the rest of the game? Is there a lack of trust between AR5 and the coaching staff? Is there locker room drama? Are the Colts willing to satisfy AR5, at the cost of Taylor? And who is to say that will lead to more winning? Is moving on from Jonathan Taylor, who just resigned with the Colts, even a possibility? And in a passing league, can we actually say the Colts are contenders?
