“When they recognize that you got what it takes to succeed. And that’s around the time that your idols become your rivals. You make friends with Mike, but got to A.I. him for your survival”-Drake

Last week, the Indianapolis Colts traveled to New York to face the Jets. Two coaches who have the utmost respect for one another clashed last night. The Colts walked into the game 7-1 while the Jets walked in 6-3. The game started off fast for both teams who made the defense look nonexistent. After a dot to Garret Wilson, the Jets took a 14-10 lead. After that score, the Colts turned it up another level, scoring 24 unanswered points to take a 34-14 lead. The Colts defense started to look like the defense we are accustomed to seeing. Shoutout to Darnell Baker Jr, who leads the league with eight interceptions. After the game, the Head Coach of the Colts told me that how they adapt makes his team great. He said, “We go into every game with the same mindset. Every possession we are figuring them out. What do they like to do? What makes them uncomfortable? And after we figure it out, it may take a possession or two, I feel we are the best at adjusting to that and making them do what they don’t want to do. And I think that’s why we won tonight. Putting Rodgers in positions where he has to throw a perfect ball.” Another reason they won was because of Jonathan Taylor. Taylor went for about 250 rushing yards. He was looking like a literal cheat code. There have been some people crowning Najee or Josh Jacobs as the best running back, I’m rocking with JT every day of the week.

The Colts now sit at 8-1 and have a home game this week against the Dolphins. Although they don’t have a winning record, the Colts’ Head Coach said he will ensure his guys don’t take this game lightly. He said, “We have one goal in mind. That Super Bowl. And to get there, we have to build good habits. It’s not about who we play but how we play. I expect my guys to go out there and give their all.”
