After a loss to the Titans, a game where the interim coach stepped in due to the regular Titans Head Coach dealing with personal issues, the belief that the Colts can do something this year gets slimmer and slimmer. In a tough AFC and a 6-3 record so far, the playoffs are not guaranteed. The locker room was pretty silent. Players did not attend their postgame interviews. The Head Coach attended an interview, but after being asked how much this loss hurt, he responded “What do you think?”, and walked out.

There is no question that this one hurt. The Colts had the belief that they alone were the ones who could stop the Titans, but the numbers say otherwise and have been saying otherwise for a long time. A failure this year may just do it. Rumors are swirling that the Colts may go into a complete rebuild if they lose this year. What does that mean for Anthony Richardson? Taylor? Hell, does Parsons get traded once again for draft picks?

But the season is not over. Or is it? By the locker room, you would think that they have given up. At the end of the day, this could be a point in the season where the Colts take it to the next level or the point in the season where the Colts fall off for good.
