In week 11, the Cowboys took on the 2-7 Steelers and dominated as usual. The coaching staff feared potential complacency but this was not the case. Dak Prescott threw for 242 and 4 TDs on only 12 attempted. Earlier in the week, Dak told the press he is unsure why he is not the MVP favourite, as his stats and undefeated record back up that statement. However, a big reason why is the media believe that he gets carried by Tony Pollard and the defense, and in this game Tony Pollard had a whopping 25 carries for 220 yards and 1 TD. Tony Pollard also has expressed his concern with barely being in the MVP race. The lack of media support has added an extra incentive for Dak and Tony Pollard to keep their explosive offense alive each and every week.
Once again, the best defense in the NFL stood out, holding the Steelers to only 10 points, and the players and coaching staff told the press that they should have not allowed any points this game, believing that the Steelers got extremely lucky on both their scoring drives. Demarcus Lawerence added 3 TFLs and a sack and the secondary picked off Bo Nix 3 times, with Daron Bland picking Nix off 2 times and Damone Clark taking his pick to the house for a TD.
