The Dolphins hosted the undefeated Bengals last night. Many may have said that this would have been an easy game for the Bengals, but the Dolphins proved otherwise. The Dolphins came out hot scoring on the first drive of the game. The Bengals would easily drive down the field and tie it. JJ McCarthy would then go on to throw a pick on the Dolphin’s next drive leading to an easy Bengals score. For the rest of the game, both teams traded scoring drives. At the end of the day, the Bengals would kick the go-ahead FG with 39 seconds remaining. JJ would lead his team down past the 50-yard line with a completion to Egbuka. With 17 seconds left, he tried to hit Julian Hill up the seam to get into FG range, however, he was once again picked off. McCarthy finished the game with a 66% completion stat line but those 2 picks proved costly.

Running Back, Achane, was just 2 yards shy of a 100-yard game but added a TD. AJ Dillon, who the Dolphins brought back this season, only had one run attempt that came on his TD run. Dillon has voiced his frustration with his role on the squad. The Dolphins HC has promised him some more touches.

Emeka Egbuka finished as the leading WR with 4 catches for 82 yards. Odell Beckham showed flashes of his younger self with a 106-yard TD return. Next week the slumping Dolphins take on the Bills in Buffalo, a team they beat earlier in the year, 27-7. Both teams are different than they were back then, and this game is expected to be a showdown between these division rivals.

BREAKING NES: All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey will be on the move to the Eagles, as he is voicing his displeasure with how the defense has performed as of late and demanded a trade.

Don’t sleep on this Dolphins team though. They were expected to win a championship already, but now it looks like they are in a rebuilding phase. One thing is for sure, they fight. Don’t be surprised if they are the reason some teams miss out on the playoffs.
