It’s hard for every team in the league to get recognition. Although this does not take away from the success these teams are having, in my opinion, every team should be recognized. I throw around “Contender” and “Favorite” a lot, but the truth is that only 14 teams make the playoffs. The only way to guarantee a playoff berth is to win your division.
And the Giants are looking like they will easily win theirs. Although they are flying under the radar, being coached by such a strong military mind, the Giants play with that grit that cannot be taught. I promise you that no team wants to play the Giants. They are the second-best-ranked defense. A dominant defense that makes it pretty easy for their offense.
Speaking of their offense, it has been quite shaky. Saquan has done what Saquan does, but it’s hard to ignore the play of Daniel Jones. He has big ups and big downs with an 8-8 TD-INT ratio but is 7th in passing yards. So far, that has not come to bite them, so hopefully he can tighten it up before it does.
But do the Giants have enough to REALLY compete in the tough NFC? Will they make a big move as trading opens up? I’m truly not sure of either of those questions. One thing I am sure of though is that the Giants are a beast in the NFC East.
