Cameron Ward has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league. The Giants believe that he is their franchise quarterback and will lead them to the promised land. In fact, they decided to pass up on Anthony Richardson to keep Ward.

Jalin Hyatt has been a top-2 receiver in the league since Season 3. Maybe he got snubbed for NFC OPOTY, but that’s a topic for another day.

But yet even with both Ward and Hyatt playing incredibly, the Giants found themselves in the lottery. Why? Well, the answer is obvious. Two players cannot win you a football game.

This season though, the NFC East is the Giants to lose. The Commanders, the team that won the division last season, fired their old Head Coach so no one really knows how they will perform this season. The Eagles, who made the playoffs last season, also fired their Head Coach. So now the only team with a Head Coach with playoff experience is the New York Giants. And I’m going to be honest, I believe last season was a fluke. I am not a conspiracy theorist but I believe the Giants tanked. Unfortunately, they had one of the worst drafts I have ever seen, but I believe that regardless they can compete in the NFC.

The Giants’ biggest problem has been their slow start to the season. The Giants must start off the season strong and if they do, I see them being a top 3 seed in the NFC. This team has really good potential, but it is up to them how far they go. I do see them making the playoffs, but I have to see more of them to know how far. We know what Ward and Hyatt can do, but now it’s time to see what everyone else can do. Go Giants!
