The Giants season has been a disappointment. The Giants started very slow to start the season and were never able to get the momentum to turn it all around. However, being that they have had such a poor season, they will be receiving a top-5 pick this year. For a team that already has such a great young core, adding another elite rookie will do wonders for this team.
However, rumors are going around that the Giants may be looking to trade this pick for an elite talent. These rumors have not been confirmed by anyone in the Giants’ front office, but this is something we will keep our eyes on. With such a high pick (as of today), many teams will be sure to be on the phone trying to get that pick. Again, that is if the Giants choose to trade it. In my opinion, the Giants were ready to take a huge leap this year. Adding another solid piece would guarantee a top-3 seed in the NFC in my opinion. This team has huge potential, and they are also so young. And for that reason, I believe the future is so bright for the New York Giants.
