The Vikings have a long history of selecting great talent when it comes to the wide receiver position. Their draft list doesn’t compare to anyone else when it comes to drafting receivers, it blows everyone out of the water, and it seems that they have done it again with Tetairoa Mcmillian.
The Vikings have drafted: Cris Carter, Randy Moss, Adam Theilin, Stefon Diggs, and Justin Jefferson to name a few. Two of these receivers are already Hall of Famers, and if the other three keep up the same pace that they are on they will have a good case to join their predecessors. And just when you thought the Vikings couldn’t get any more greats at the receiver position, they go out and draft the 6’5 receiver out of Arizona, Tetairoa McMillian. McMillian is such a dangerous combination of size and athleticism, and probably the biggest guy the Vikings have taken at receiver. But his body is holding up and not just when it comes to injuries, he is proving that he can get that 6’5 frame moving. McMillian is on pace to easily win NFC offensive rookie of the year with 832 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns. McMillian is already proving to be a super star, and this can be seen by all the 81 jerseys you see in Minnesota on Sundays. This guy could be better than all of the guys before him as long as he can stay healthy and keep this pace up.
