The Bengals and Steelers have a problem, and it’s called not. Both teams have a combined record of 1-8. A once proud division for its toughness and grit has become the complete opposite. Both teams are allowing 40 points game on defense. Both teams need to figure out what is going on quick before the season is lost.
The bengals on top of there defensive woes have some major players that they still haven’t agreed on an extension with. Trey Hendrickson, Joe Mixon, Germaine Pratt and Cam Taylor Britt. This is a team that only has 6 million is cap available so if we get to the trading deadline, you have to imagine this team has to be a seller.
The Steelers do have more cap available at 32 million, but Steelers need to figure out who there QB is and they need to figure who is staying for the rebuild and get some value for who isn’t. Diontae Johnson is taking snaps away from Odunze and Thomas Jr. If Johnson is on this roster after the deadline that will be a huge mistake by the Steelers. Cameron Hayward is 36 years old…He gotta go. Steelers LB and DB core seem set for a few years.
