Rumors spread that the Steelers were listening to all offers on TJ Watt. I have inside information that the Panthers and Colts were constantly on the phone trying to make a deal for TJ. The trade deal for the Panthers centered around Jaycee Horn and other key players while the trade deal with the Colts centered around Nelson and a 1st round pick. Steelers were considering both, but in the end, decided that staying with Watt was best for the franchise. I’m being told that the Steelers plan on drafting defensive backs in the upcoming draft, rather than making a deal for one that may have cost them their future.
