When he first arrived, the Jaguars Head Coach made it clear, he has no fear. He does not fear the Titans. He does not fear the Colts. He does not fear the Texans. He does not fear anybody. And he knows that his team can and will cause hell.

The Jaguars shocked the league when they traded their #1 pick. The Jaguars had the worst record in the league, so many assumed that they would use that pick to get a game-changer. Instead, the Jaguars had a different vision. Instead of getting one game-changer, they decided to get plenty. Which looking back, it is a very smart move. The Jaguars would get players like Cam Akers, Nico Collins, and Tyrique Stevenson. The Jaguars did not want to wait for one player to develop when they could get established guys.

So the Jags came into the season with talent, and most importantly, belief. Trevor Lawrence is finally healthy and that alone gives them a chance. A chance at what? A chance at winning the division? Maybe not the division, but they have a real shot at being #2 in that division. Who knows what type of season the Colts will have? And who knows if the Texans will be able to close out a season, something they have struggled with in recent years. And as you know, two teams usually make it to the playoffs out of this division, so who is to say it can’t be the Jaguars?

The Jaguars have already started strong with their victory over the Raiders. A game in which we saw what having Trevor Lawrence back can do for them. Defensively, the Jags came up with two interceptions on the former MVP. 1-0. Next week, the Jags will go up against the Steelers. And I know that the Jags have that circled. A win against the Steelers would tell the league something the Jags’ Head Coach has been telling us since he arrived, they are here!
