Coach Isaiah of the Jaguars told the reporters that he believes that this young roster can win the whole thing this year. The Jaguars made it their focus to bring some wide receivers to help out Trevor Lawrence. And so far, every single piece has performed well. JSN, who was brought in from the Seahawks trade in the offseason, has 700 yards for the team. Rookie, J. Michael Sturdviant may be the steal of the draft with 675 yards for the team. Oronde Gadsden II, who was drafted late in the 4th has 668. And although Xavier Worthy has not cracked 600 yards, he just had a great game against the Bills. Worthy would go for 8 receptions and 180 yards with 2 touchdowns in their week 13 win over the Bills.

But the passing game is not the only thing going right for the Jags. Travis Etienne Jr. is currently top-5 in the league. Every time he gets the ball, he always seems to make a play. Even when it looks like the play is dead, he ends up getting an extra 2-3 yards. With the passing game rolling, it makes Etienne’s job so much easier as defenses must stay disciplined. There were rumors that the Jags were looking for offers for him in the offseason. And the way the season is going, I’m sure both parties are happy that no trade deal was done.

And the Jags defense has also been very impressive, being mentioned with some of the best. In back-to-back weeks they would hold a team that averaged almost 40 points a game (Colts and Bills) to just 17 points. Today, the Jaguars would showcase their diverse coverages and blitzes in a very impressive win.

But when looking at the Jaguars’ schedule, they have not really played the toughest opponents. In fact, of their 11 wins, only 4 of them were against teams over .500. So when it comes to the playoffs, will the Jags be able to battle against the best of the best?
