The Jets did it again. In a game where I picked the Giants to get an upset win, I learned never to ever bet against the Jets again. They destroyed the Giants by a score of 41-0 and have made a clear statement to the league: They are the best team in the league by far. Whether that is true or not, there is no evidence to prove that they aren’t the best. By the court of law, the Jets are the best until proven otherwise. With Aaron Rodgers back, it looks like their offense is unstoppable. A great passing and running game leaves the defense scratching their head. And with a defense that gets timely stops, it’s hard to point out what weaknesses the Jets have. Aaron Rodgers threw a pick in the first possession, but after that, he was the great Aaron Rodgers of old. Speaking of ARod, I got to chat with him after the shutout win against the Giants:

Interviewer: The legend himself Aaron Rodgers. Take me through the recovery process. The plan was always to get here, but the process to get here had to be tough. What was it like to not be on the field fighting with your guys?

ARod: It was rough but I always was around the game that I love. You know, staying in the meetings, and practices, and being a mentor to Zach really helped the process run smoothly.

Interviewer: Going against a top-ranked pass defense, you made it look so easy. The offense looked great with Zach Wilson, but it looks unstoppable with you. With a phenomenal run game to keep the defense disciplined, and a great receiving core, how much easier is it for you to pick the defense apart and do what you do best?

ARod: It feels pretty much like second nature at this point. I mean you do something for so long it starts to become that. Like you said, my teammates make my job so much easier, allowing me to do something I’ve been doing since I was young. You can’t ask for better teammates and coaching staff.

Interviewer: Many have already crowned you guys the SB Champs. You guys are beating every team that steps your way. How do you come in every day with the same underdog mindset that you said you guys have when you guys are clearly the top dawgs?

ARod: We go in with that mindset because we know, as a franchise, we haven’t been seen as that in a very long time. We know as a team we still have a lot of work to do to get the ultimate prize. At the end of the day, it’s about how we perform, not about the power rankings or what everyone else says about us.

Interviewer: I know you want to go back to the locker room to celebrate with your guys. I have one question. Who is the King of New York?

ARod: Well for now it’s us the New York J-E-T-S.
