Have you ever gone to the store, and got everything you wanted: Eggs, milk, flour, vanilla, sugar, you name it and you got it? You go home excited to make some good ol’ pancakes. You turn the stove on and go to the refrigerator to take out the ingredients to make it. You take out the milk, flour, vanilla, and sugar. As you are about to get started, you remember you forgot the eggs. So you go toward the fridge and take out the eggs, but as you are about to get started you catch yourself falling, sacrificing those eggs. Now you got yolk all over the floor, and pancakes still to be made. The worst part: You literally just started! That never happened to you and that was completely random?
Well, the Jets know all about that. Before the season, just by roster alone, they were a favorite. They had the eggs (Aaron Rodgers), milk (Defense), flour (Dalvin Cook), vanilla (Great Coach), and sugar (the sweetness of new beginnings). And on SNYPZTV, all the ingredients were out on the field. But in a couple of minutes, the eggs (Aaron Rodgers) fell and struggled to get up. So just like that, the optimism is over, right? Just like that, the Jets are bottom-feeders once again, right? Wrong!
The Jets stay undefeated on route to the much anticipated GOTW against the Broncos on SNYPZTV. As stated before, the last time the Jets were on SNYPZTV, it was bittersweet. As for next week against the Broncos, it might turn out to be the same. Without Aaron Rodgers, will the Jets be able to face such a great SB contender team in the Broncos? One thing is for sure: Zach Wilson is not backing down. And why would he? Aaron Rodgers is not coming back and this is his chance to prove all the doubters wrong. The head coach of the Jets says he still feels like the Jets have a lot to prove to themselves. Well, Friday at 7:30 on SNYPZTV is the perfect time to do so.
