SNYPS NLG NFC Championship game saw the Detroit Lions advanced to the Super Bowl of the NLG in season 1 with a 33-21 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Lions are now 1 win away form a perfect 20-0 season and the first team to do it since the 1972 Miami Dolphins.  It was a great effort by the visiting Bucs as they came in and seemed very focused from the beginning as they actually had a 7-0 lead after the first qtr and only trailed 10-7 at the half.

Herndon Hooker passed for 317 yards with 1 td and 1 int wile Jahymr Gibbs rushed for 120 yards ad 3 td’s to pace the Lions. This game was not easy as the Bucs kept it close in the first half.  Jameson Williams had 5 receptions for 121 yards while St Brown had 5 grabs for 62 yards and rookie TE sensation LaPorta had 2 catches for 80 yards and a td. Fs Kerby Joseph as well as FS Tracy Walker each had a pic for the Lions on defense. Rookie LB Jack Campbell chipped in with 5 tackles.

The Bucs were led by Kyle Murray who passed for 217 yards with 3tds and 2 ints. White had 40 yards rushing and 3 receptions for 86 yards and a td.  Lavonte David was all over the field for the Bucs as he had a game high 12 tackles. 

The Lions will face the winner of the Jaguars and Jets game. That was postponed this evening due to electrical problems at Met Life stadium. The game will be played tomorrow.
