Still facing criticism over drafting QB Joe Milton in the first round, the New Orleans Saints made a remarkable comeback in week 2 defeating the New York Giants 17-16 on a last second game winning touchdown from their embattled QB. After the game head coach Tingis Pingis addressed the media responding to the criticism over the draft selection. “Well, well, well the GM and I may have been in Vegas on a bender and missed the draft, but the pick made by our Make-a-wish recipient looks pretty good huh?” The Saints opened the game with a first quarter field goal, but were held scoreless by the Giants stifling defense until the fourth quarter where they exploded to score 14 points. After the game Joe Milton was available for comment, saying “I don’t know what to do with my hands”. The saints head back to the bayou in week 3 to face the winless Broncos, but this reporter still has doubts over the direction of the franchise.
