Tampa Bay at Detroit
The Bucs came into this game with a 10-9 record. They are led by ALL Everything Kyler Murray. He is the heart and soul of this team. He can hurt you through the air as well as running the rock. He has 93 speed for a QB. He ran for over 1000 yards and was by far the leading rusher on this team. Rachaad White will get the majority of carries at the running back spot. Trey Palmer Chris Godwin and Anthony Schwartz are the top 3 receivers that the Bucs have for Murray to throw to. If Tampa Bay has a chance, it’s their defensive unit that needs to step up in this game to slow down those young and athletic Lions squad. LB’s Devon White and Lavonte David need to have stellar games and lead this defense by example.
The Lions come into the game with a perfect 18-0 record. They are chasing history as trying to become the first team since the 1972 Miami Dolphins to run through a season and win the Super Bowl without losing a game. The Odds makers right now are giving the Lions a healthy 89% chance of winning it all.
The Lions are led by a trio of rookies on offense. Tennessee Rookie Herdon Hooker passed for over 3000 yards with 34 td’s on this season. He is very poised for a rookie QB in the NLG and only 2 wins away from the title. Alabama rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs ran for over 1500 yards during his rookie campaign and scored 22 td’s along the way, Anther Bama product, Jemeson Williams had over 1200 yards receiving with 15 td’s. Add in Veteran WR St John as well as Gibbs coming out of the backfield catching passed the Lions as putting up some huge offensive numbers. On the other side of the ball, the Lions defense is led by none other than CJ Gardner Johnson. He ad 12 picks on the year. That was followed up by the LB tandem of Jack Campbell 7 picks and Alex Analone who chipped in with 6 pics on the season.
