The Panthers are back! If you forgot, the Panthers went to the Super Bowl in back-to-back years in Season 3 and Season 4. Unfortunately, they would fall both times to the Bengals and Titans respectively. But even in those losses, the Panthers’ future looked really bright. Bryce Young was just a young quarterback who was already making a case for top-5 in the league.
But last season the Panthers shocked the league…in a bad way. Granted they did have a new coach, but no one expected them to miss the playoffs completely. The Panthers’ season started horribly, and it looked like the Panthers would be back on the downfall for a while. But towards the end of the season, the Panthers started to pick it back up. Bryce Young started to look like the guy we came to know the previous two seasons and the offense was back, maybe even better than before. And even though the Panthers would just miss the playoffs after they fought so hard for a chance, they ended the season on a good note. With an offseason to learn the plays of the new Head Coach and a chance to gain some chemistry with one another, the sky was the limit for the Panthers.
And to start the season, the Panthers have not disappointed. They have a 3-0 record and all three wins came in blowout fashion. The blowout last week to the Eagles was so bad that the Eagles GM immediately fired their Head Coach. It brings me great joy to say that the Panthers are back! How far can they go? Can OZ lead this team to the Super Bowl like Coach Jayforeign did? And if he can, will they finally get the job done?
