As we end the regular season, there are a lot of teams still hoping that they can clinch a playoff spot. A lot of teams need complex scenarios to happen. For example, The Cardinals not only need to win out but need the Lions and Packers to lose out. But there is a team who does not need to rely on any other team but themselves. And that team is the New England Patriots.
The Patriots started the season 0-6 before they hired a new Head Coach. Since the hiring of their new Head Coach, they are 6-2. They come off an impressive win against the New York Jets, a win that got the league talking. But the Patriots did not stop there. After a win over the Panthers (FW), the Patriots can clinch the playoffs by winning their final 3 games. Those games are against the Texans (7-7, currently the 7th seed due to Broncos getting FL rest of the season), Falcons, and the Browns (7-8, currently the 8th seed due to Broncos getting FL rest of the season). The Patriots’ hard work to end the season may not go in vain. The Patriots have shocked the league thus far and I believe that they will do the impossible. But it starts today as the Patriots will try to defend their home field against the Texans and inch closer to the playoffs. Go Pats!
