Wildcard. Underdog. Saints.
If there is any team that fits the word “underdog”, it’s the New Orleans Saints. While the bottom half of the NFC struggled to get wins, the Saints took advantage and snuck their way into the playoffs. It wasn’t pretty but they made it. Now here in the playoffs, it does not matter how you got here, but what you will do now that you are. It’s hard to get a grasp on how good this team is because of their losses and who they beat. They have beaten bad-performing teams and lost to good-performing teams. An underdog in it’s greatest definition coming into the playoffs. I love to see the underdogs win, so I’m hoping they cause some mayhem to everyone’s playoff brackets.
Even though most people don’t believe in them, there is a whole bunch of people in New Orleans screaming, “Who dat? Who dat? Who dat said they gon beat them Saints?”
