It’s playoff time! Win or go home! I can’t wait to see the action. Two teams fighting, giving their all to get one step closer to the Super Bowl. Let’s take a look at the matchups:
2. Jets vs 7. Bills
This one is going to be a great game. These division rivals are tied in the season 1-1, and what better way to break the tiebreaker than to win and eliminate the other team from the playoffs? The Jets have a phenomenal answer, and to win this game they will have to rack up a lot of points. Many picked the Jets to win this game, but I am not so sure that it is guaranteed. If there is any team I think has the Jets number, it’s the Bills. The last time they played, they not only won, but they defeated the undefeated streak. That loss sent the Jets on a downhill spiral. Tonight, the Jets can get revenge. They will have a tough time doing that going against the Season 1 Cover Athlete, Stefon Diggs. I pick the Jets to win this one.
3. Titans vs 6. Browns
This will be a dog fight! Two great defenses and dramatically improved offenses clash in the wildcard round! This game will be determined by which rookie quarterback can handle the pressure of a win-or-go-home game. I picked the Titans to win this game because they have everything you want in a team. However, the Browns fought all the way from a record of 4-6 to get here, and they won’t give up easily.
4. Chargers vs 5. Colts
So many are sleeping on the Chargers! Maybe because they have not been televised as much, but don’t be fooled, this team is here for a reason! The Chargers may mess up a lot of playoff brackets with a win here. They go against an inconsistent Colts team. The Colts will need their defense to go back to where it was at the beginning, and it won’t be easy going against a big 3 of Herbert, Ekeler, and Ridley.
2. Cardinals vs 7. Cowboys
I’m not gonna lie here: This may be the worst possible matchup for the Cardinals. I picked them to win, but from what I saw from the Cowboys last week, they are better than coaches are giving them credit for. Still, the Cardinals have the 2 seed for a reason. I see them having a chance to go to the NFC Championship game, which means I’m picking them to win.
3. Packers vs 6. Saints
The Packers are potentially the best team in the league and this round looks like it will be an easy win for them. I don’t see Jordan Love and the Packers offense stopping anytime soon, especially to the Saints. However, talking to the Saints’ coach, he guaranteed that the Saints would be playing in the Super Bowl. I wouldn’t be mad at that. I love to see the underdogs win. Well, tomorrow night, it’s put up or shut up as they will play at 9:00.
4. Commanders vs 5. Lions
The Commanders had a great turnaround in the season. They proved to be the true kings of the NFC East. Their reward: A first-round matchup against the red-hot Lions. The Lions have the MVP, Hendon Hooker, and OPOY, Jameson Williams to lead their offense. This game will be a high-scoring game no doubt. Playoffs are exciting because you never know who will get upset. Well, this is my first one of Season 1. I’m picking the Commanders to squeak out a win.
