Wow. Wow. Wow. The #2 Commanders were set to host the #7 Rams in the Wildcard Round. Now if you were to watch the Rams throughout the season, you would have expected this to be a close game. The Rams had defied all odds this season shocking the world. But towards the end of the season, we started to see some cracks in their shield. None bigger than their loss to the Seahawks in Week 18, which almost made them get eliminated from playoff contention. On the other hand, the Commanders were balling. Even against good teams, the Commanders held their own. It was believed that this would be the year that the Commanders would not fold when the playoffs started. However, that could not have been further from the truth.

The Rams would blowout the Commanders 42-18 in a game where the pressure was too much for Sam Howell. Howell had done a great job all season long in taking care of the football, but last night he was forced to throw 4 interceptions. Turning the ball over to a team that has one of the best receiving cores and Raheim Sanders is never going to work out. Sanders would rush for 3 touchdowns while Bo Nix would throw for 309 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Rams are here! And even though I did not expect them to win, I believe they have a real shot at upsetting the 49ers. Time will tell. But for now, we must give them their props. They are the #PlayoffBracketCrusher of Season 5. Wow.

For the Commanders, you can’t help but point the finger at Howell. The Commanders extended him already so I wonder what they will do from here on out. The Commanders could possibly take Malachi Nelson in the draft. Defensively, this team had done a great job all season. I truly think they just need better Quarterback play. I have never been a fan of Howell and this game showed why. I expect the Commanders to come out next season on a revenge tour.
