After much talk around the league, the Las Vegas Raiders Front Office has decided that Max Crosby will continue to be on the team for the foreseeable future. Coach Isaiah and the front office did let Crosby know prior to the trade talks that he was on the block. The Raiders wanted to sort of reset after winning a championship. Coach Isaiah has emphasized long-term building rather than “winning now”. That being said, they could not find a deal that benefited both teams. It will be interesting to see how the Raiders look next year with few picks in the upcoming draft and not attacking Free Agency. Not to mention, the aging of players like Jonathan Allen and Keenan Allen (who is no longer on the team)

The whole offseason for the Raiders has been centered around trading Crosby to get some picks and young pieces. But with all the noise that came with that, a move the Raiders made went under the rug. The Raiders would send Kolton Miller to the Giants for Jalin Hyatt. Jalin Hyatt, 23, did not have the expected season with a lot of the attention being on Nabers. With Keenan Allen off the team and Meyers getting old, the Raiders felt the need to go after a young receiver with lots of potential. Coach Isaiah spoke about the trade: “Anytime you can get a guy like Hyatt with that skill, you will try your best to get him. Not to mention that he has a chip on his shoulder…fits perfectly to the culture we have here. I look forward to working with him and getting him ready to play Raiders football.
