Man, it’s so sweet to see Lamar Jackson back in MVP form. And with him back in MVP form, that means that the Ravens are winning football games again! Very comfortably I might add. Starting the season against two teams that made the playoffs last year, and the Ravens blew both of them out. A statement to the league: The Ravens are back!
Last year, Lamar had a horrible season. Throwing 29 touchdowns with 33 interceptions. A forgettable season for a Quarterback who was top 5 in my opinion a couple of years ago. I got to go into some of the Ravens practices in the offseason, and there was a big emphasis on Lamar being himself. Last year, it seemed like Lamar was trying to become a full-out pocket passer, not using his legs. I’m not sure if he was secretly battling injury, but when Lamar is not a threat to run, it’s easier for defenses. So far this season, we have seen the Lamar we are familiar with. A great passer, but let’s be honest, he is the best mobile quarterback we have seen in a while.
Lamar has thrown 6 touchdowns with 0 interceptions so far as the Ravens are 2-0. I’m so excited to watch Lamar Jackson. So excited that I will be on their sidelines this week when they go against the Cowboys. If you are a Ravens fan, you can smile and laugh again! Let’s gooooooo!
